WOW. I hate Jacob in the books – sorry Laura, but I think I might like him in the movies. I love him as an actor. So, maybe Taylor will soften me towards Jacob. I just know they’re gonna play up the “love story” more than it is in the books and I don’t think I’m ready for that since I’m not a big fan of him in the books…
yeah… i’m not really stoked about having to sit through bandslam to see this, but my best friend and i are troopers and are going on friday JUST for the trailer, lol .
Good Clip. I would love to see more, but I’m not going to see Bandslam just to see the trailer.. I watched it 4 times just to make it feel longer. hahahaha!

@Angel, I agree with you. I can’t stand Jacob in the books, so I didn’t think I would like Taylor playing Jacob. The more I watch Taylor in interviews and other stuff with the movie, he has really grown on me. I’m starting to like movie Jacob more and more because of him. I will always be Team Edward though.
I’m sure someone will go see that movie and record it….hopefully not too long after that they will upload a HQ version like this one….any new stuff gets me excited! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Hmmmm… what should we think of Taylor’s acting? I think from the Comic-Con clip and this little preview, I think the acting will be better in New Moon. Some of his lines in twilight were a little stiff. But I can’t judge his performance till I see the movie….

I LOVE taylor.. his body is HOT!!! Edward wasn’t in the book as much as jacob, so obviously the previews aren’t going to be all Edward and Bella… I love Rob just as much as Taylor! All the Twilight guys are HOT!!
i really liked the trailer clip, twilight was edward and bellas story but new moon is jacob and bellas. They look really at ease and relaxed with eachother- jacob comforts bella like he does in the book. I love new moon and I can’t wait for this film- and the full trailer. The music is really good too. Still, i don’t think I could bear to see bandslam…
Hi I was really disappointed because (not reading that friday was the day when the trailer would be released) I went to the premiere of Bandslam hoping to see some new moon action, but had none
The trailer looks great though, I can’t wait to see it. Just a point of interest, personally I didnt really like Bandslam it was like a really cheesy, weird teenage version of School of Rock (which I love by the way) But i will leave it up to you to decide
I agree with Ashley, at 8 seconds, he looks allmost photoshopped with his head not attached to his body. Oh, pleeeease do not tell me they are gonna make an attempt to 3D this. >:^\

inspite of what everyone says, Taylor looks amazing, i just wish they would stop showing his body, for crying out loud, he’s just seventeen and they are steady trying to ex him up. and to be honest, (don’t hate me) acting in twilight was so bad, so i don’t really expect to see a big change there, i expect some change, but not a big one. and Robert is the one who always looks constipated. Taylor always looks…strangely at ease/awkward.
It’s obviously pretty short and they really should have released the full trailer!! *sigh* I was impressed but getting sick of all the shirtless Jake scenes. Yeah I know he is supposed to be shirtless but they seem to be including it every waking second possible. I love Taylor but not Jake so much; Taylor’s already beginning to make me put up with Jake more. Oh and the music was cool and I kinda liked how they showed scenes overlapping and gosh Taylor’s acting is just amazingg– his face is so beautiful when Bella says something. I don’t remember what she says I just saw the trailer once. Better go watch it again!!

awwww that was so cute! i was never a team Jacob fan but with Taylor Lautner playing the role it’s hard not to fall for him. but i do hope the full preview includes a little bit more like say the volturi?!? although that would be a nice suprise for the move. who knows..

it was a teaser trailer so I’m not gonna judge it until I can see the whole thing. But I will judge Taylor. lol. Did anyone else notice his hair in the first part? Like @ second 5? It looks like it’s in one of those girly half pony tails. (and btw, Taylor/Jacob is stinkin HOT!!!!)
Ohhh Jacob I love you. So much that I could almost, just almost forgive you for not having your hair tied all the way back in the film. You’re looking a tad girly, mate.
And yeahh, I hope that there’s not more shirtless Jake scenes than what we’ve seen. I find it so incredibly unnessescary. We get it, you’ve done for the reactions from us fangirls, but it’s getting too much and it’s cheesy as. It’s almost ruining Jacob’s character for me; it’s like he’s showing off all the time, but he’s not even like that.
The more I think about it the less I like it. I have a feeling that in the movie tha whole romance thing between bella and Jacob is gonna be way bigger than in tha books…… I’m not sure I like that…….

that was a tiny slice of cheesy. I think a lot of you are forgetting that the wolf pack usually does run around shirtless because of the convenience so it could be two things: them attracting more fans by showing him off or what I just said.

this was kind of disapointing. There was only one line in the trailer that we haven’t heard yet. Plus summit said it was gonna be 14 seconds, but it wasn’y really, the new moon name took up the xtra 4 secs.
OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I LOVE it!!!! I wish we got more that we haven’t seen instead of Taylor (like the Volturi or more of Edward), but I still LOVE IT!!!!

Hey Summit, is Bandslam that awful that they have to make people pay and sit through the movie just to see the trailer? I dont understand why they cant just put the whole clip up =(

did any of you read new moon it is jacob and bella’s story ofcourse they are going to play up the relationship and again the reason why jacob is shirtless all the time is because that is how the wolf pack usually is there warm blooded they don’t need many clothes and remember it is easier for them to transform remember this is not the book word for word scene by scene this is a screenplay things are different

Hm… looks good. Don’t want to get my hopes up though. I will have to wait for the full trailer and then see what i think. Remember, we were all excited for Twilight once we saw the trailer too, and see how that turned out.
@ Lynn, he wasn’t a wolf yet, and i am sure they have other scenes with him fully clothed they could have shown. i do agree about the Bella/Jacob relationship. Edward isn’t supposed to be in New Moon, it was to show the growing relationship between Jacob and Bella. -_- all you will see is JACOB scenes, lol. and it might’ve been cheesy/dorky for her to say “you’re sort of beautiful” but, BELLA said it in the book. lol, let’s me know a lot of the dialogue is the same.
I’m impressed with the upped quality, definitely. I agree with several people, though… I don’t like that they are going to enhance the “romance” between Bella and Jacob. Bella is very clear throughout the New Moon book that her intention was never to fall in love with him… and even denied it until Eclipse, near the end of the book. I hope they do portray the breakup between Edward and Bella well, showing how tortured Edward was.
All in all, any inside clips of this movie we get to see is certainly a treat. So, thanks!

Ok, for all the “he’s shirtless too much” comments…HELLO. Have you read New Moon? He’s shirtless ALL THE TIME. Ok, not all the time, but MOST the time. Even Bella comments to him about never having a shirt on. So I dont think that Summit is trying to play him up. I think they are just going by the book. Isnt that what we wanted?? Im not going to judge it cause I would rather see the whole movie before I do that. But everything Ive seen so far still has me excited. Thanks for the post!

i think its retarded how they make it seem like bella actually likes jacob and something goes on between them when during the book she stresses so much how she just sees jacob as a brother. it was never more than that to her. retards!
I’m actually EXTREMELY disappointed in this one. I as of this moment the other one is much more eye catching… From this one it all seemed…….. forced and acward and then in the other one it all seemed ALMOST natural so i am very disappointed. i guess i understand all the Jacob but from what I’ve seen they are only capturing the audience of HALF the fans and that’s a very small half. but i’m sure it’s bigger now cause a lot may have switched cause of taylor but i’ve never thought that was a reason for the teams (yes i know this is long but this is my thoughts… and yes I’m team Edward he is what’s best for Bella.)

I think the reason that they’re putting the FULL New Moon trailer on Bandslam is because no one will watch it otherwise. So…. nice thinkin’.
Unless someone posts the full trailer, I’m probably just going to go to the movies for Bandslam, and leave as soon as I’ve seen the New Moon greatness.
OMG OMG Bandslam comes out tomorrow(Thursday) in AUS can not wait!

Yeah, I do understand that he’s shirtless 90% of the book but the thing that’s bothering me is the way they seem to have highlighted that fact too much. Once or twice is enough, but keep the rest rather subtle. Eg: He doesn’t have to stand up to take off his shirt to tend to Bella. I mean, he could’ve done it kneeling. Just that sort of stuff is annoying me.
BAHAHHAHAHA totally agree with you on that meg. And it was kinda a let down from the other one. Plus taylors body is WAY to big for his head man!! LIKE WTF! he looks like he shrunk his head and put the fat into his abs….>.>!

Hey so i was thinking that Bandslam was not gonna be worth it either… but check out Rotten Tomatoes, it has a 77% and claims that is actually a pretty intelligent flick. Very surprising; I might go see it and the trailer too!
i haven’t seen the videos… but they cant be that good because Robert Pattinson is in them but… i wanna know if the trailer will be in band slam in Australia! i really wanna watch it..and i will sit through 2 hours of high school musical look alike as long as i can see that trailer in Full Effect.
