Well, at least they can… save money or something.
And the 11th is a Wednesday. The majority of Twilights fanbase will be in a little thing called school then. Couldn’t they have just made it the 14th?
Comment by Aymzie — 09/27/2009 @ 8:00 am
thats only cool if they get to meet the cast!!
Comment by kaleigh — 09/27/2009 @ 8:01 am
EEEEEEEEEP! i am sooooooooooooooooooooo going to that
Comment by Hannah — 09/27/2009 @ 8:04 am
Aymzie – it would probably be easier for British teens to miss school than it would be for older fans to take time off work. This all around sucks that it’s a Wednesday…
Comment by Nia — 09/27/2009 @ 8:05 am
On the cineworld website it says new moon comes out on the 16th october :S

I am a Brit twilighter and your comment is offensive to the Brits. Though I do believe it’s unfair to you aswell. Just keep looking out.You might hear about something.
Comment by Tash — 09/27/2009 @ 8:23 am
at least they haven’t forgotten us…
Comment by swift — 09/27/2009 @ 8:23 am

Comment by Winnie — 09/27/2009 @ 8:25 am
Sometimes I hate summit. Ugh.
Comment by Cuisle — 09/27/2009 @ 8:32 am
My only question is: Why?
Comment by Obama Ninja — 09/27/2009 @ 8:38 am
i live in the uk and we havnt even been able to buy tickets for the new moon film showings yet. no cinemas are having 12am showings and we now were not even having a premiere! th uk are a small country but Rob is from here, so we should get the same treatment as America its not fair!!!
Comment by chloe — 09/27/2009 @ 8:41 am
I’m excited – I’m on a week off from work that day! Presuming that it’ll be in the evening school kids will still be able to attend (or just skip!). I can’t wait to find out what it is. Now I just have to persuade my husband to come with me…..
Comment by erin — 09/27/2009 @ 8:46 am
Well, that sucks.
Comment by Annissa — 09/27/2009 @ 8:51 am
why are they doing this? i mean i don’t mind if i can actually go to the ‘fan event’ thing but i doubt it’s easy to get tickets.
Comment by Sharla — 09/27/2009 @ 8:53 am
How can they not have a UK premiere when the main person in the twilight saga is british its like singing the Uk natinal athem on inderpendance day ….. stupid
Comment by Rebecca — 09/27/2009 @ 8:57 am
WTF!!!!!!!!!
Damn you E1 entertainment!
This is the most stupid, ridiculous and fucked up thing i’ve heard in a long time!
They damn well better be doing a special event otherwise i’d boycott the movie (well, maybe not )
They are just lucky that people in the uk love the film so much!
Oh and what the hell were they thinking making it a wednesday, i’m doing my A-levels so i definetly cant go, WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT!
Comment by Laura — 09/27/2009 @ 8:57 am
oh suppose the event will be alright but what time and where? Why aren’t they doing it in London, what happened in the last london premiere?
Comment by Hannah Lawrence — 09/27/2009 @ 9:11 am
well that killed my sunday
Comment by Lisa — 09/27/2009 @ 9:13 am
at least they’re doing something!
Comment by erin — 09/27/2009 @ 9:24 am
First of all, thanks for keeping us posted! love you guys
Second of all,it kinda sucks for us that there’s no premier here(why not?), and this thing’s on a school night
But,at least the cast will be making a “special appearance”. I doubt that I will be able to go though…
Comment by colourfulchaos — 09/27/2009 @ 9:30 am
That is so sad!!
I went to the premiere last year and it was amazing!
I hope by fan event they dont mean something really expensive with only a really limited number of places!! I hope we can get autographs and stuff… and i hope its in London!!! Which im sure it will be… hopefully!
Comment by icegem — 09/27/2009 @ 9:34 am
Yeah it is unfair that they’re not doing a UK premiere but the 11th is a day after my birthday yay! Wonder exactly what they’re doing…

that sucks ass!!! but still, how do you get the tickets for this event and how much? (: oo oo & also do you get to meet R.Pattz and people, because that would make up for NOT having a premier!!
Comment by Sarah — 09/27/2009 @ 9:59 am
That is so unfair! Me and a load of my friends where planning on going to that Premiere!
This ‘Fan Event’ better be good!

Thats sucks.
Rob is from England therefore we are entitled to a premiere. I say next time he comes over we kidnap him and demand summit make up for this. But the cast thing is kinda cool,I guess i’m gonna be very ill that day.
Comment by Lucy — 09/27/2009 @ 10:54 am
Please let us know how to get tickets for the fan event with the cast!!!….flying to UK for this
Comment by Anishka — 09/27/2009 @ 11:10 am
I really wanted to go to the UK premiere !
Comment by chloe — 09/27/2009 @ 11:15 am
I live in Ireland so it doesn’t effect me but all I know is that the building for the offices of E1 entertainment, will be attcked soon by crazy mad English fan girls.
I would not like to get in the way of those girls who were expecting Rob Pattinson. They will kill anyone in their way.
Shudder…
Comment by Cynical — 09/27/2009 @ 11:44 am
That is so dissapointing! Stupid Promotion People!! we had a weekend planned for this New Moon premier, totally gutted. Is it so wrong for us Brits to want to see a bit of Rob Pattinson in the flesh? He is British after all!!! Plus tickets to this ‘fan event’ will be like freeking gold dust.
Comment by Louise — 09/27/2009 @ 11:47 am
Seriously i cannot believe E1 Entertainment :@!! I was excited about going to the premiere now i see there isnt gonna be one in London :O!! I especially cant believe it considering rob is from blighty anyway!! Hopefully Cineworld website right and it comes out here 19th October but i doubt it big time If not, roll on November 20th!!
Comment by Charlotte — 09/27/2009 @ 12:26 pm
Sorry october 16th
Comment by Charlotte — 09/27/2009 @ 12:30 pm
tat sux for europe peeps… but london has so many good theaters fro tat. ive been there.
Comment by Emma — 09/27/2009 @ 12:31 pm
Cineworld website also has other films as coming out on 16th October that I know aren’t out until November. I very very much doubt UK would show a film a month before it even premieres in the US. Looks like Cineworld have messed up their site – wish they were right though!

It would be better if they went all around the UK, going to different cities, I live in Liverpool so if they came here or went to Manchester, I would definately go.
Comment by Kate — 09/27/2009 @ 3:01 pm
Hopefully theres one in Australia this time although doubt it if the uk dont get one
Comment by Emma — 09/27/2009 @ 5:19 pm

Well this doesn’t make any sense ! I know the UK has started to grow with more Twilight fans and Rob’s from there and I would think it would be the second to third biggest premiere maybe after Italy for fans ?
Comment by Sia — 09/27/2009 @ 10:41 pm
yay, at least I have no college then, yay living in the UK has advantages. Cannot wait for the film.
Comment by ria — 09/28/2009 @ 1:40 am
I work at a cinema in the uk, and we are working to get a regional premiere. But its up in the air atm. We will be doing a 12am show and my friends cinema is going to do double bill of twilight and new moon. It does suck there wont be a premiere, as i would’ve been working it. Damn it! I am so missing uni on the 11th!
