Plain and Simple it was a good movie. There is no way in this world they would be able to please the books millions of readers in a two hour movie and even if it was longer. Everyone reading the books pictures things differently even when reading the same exact words. I keep the books separate from the movies, when I see the movies I expect the basic storyline to be the same and get excited when details match the books but I never expect it to be exactly like the book, keeping this in mind, I can enjoy the movies without nickpicking every detail.

yea i know im all for the proposal i just hate how people are bickering about how it ended there, because thats not how it ends in the book. i just wanted to bring out the fact that no one said anything about the ending in the twilight movie and it doesnt end the same way as the book.

its hard to be serious about a movie when you watch it and all you see is obvious advertising...and if youll notice when bella has the flashback about the bad guys and edward pulling up in the silver volvo, notice how it doesnt show the car sliding around the corner....you just hear it rev and it shows edward walking towards the bad guys, cuz they didnt want to show the silver c30 again cuz they dont want attention taken away from the black new SUV that hes driving....come on people its the little things that you have to notice

i think they should have at least explained in the movie where his c30 went, i mean it just shows the new black grocerie-getter without even explaining why it changed, and as far as the director wanting to stick to the book, well, in the book, he had the same SILVER sports car volvo from twilight all the way to BD, so the director is NOT sticking to the book

I did notice the change with the Volvo, but I didn't think it was a big deal at the time. To tell you the truth, I didn't even like the volvo from the first movie very much, so a change is good.

The ending was awesome, especially for all the fans who have read all the books!! I never heard so many people cussing and yelling at a black screen so much after a movie ends, so it was pretty funny.

Great Job Chris, this movie was soooooooo much better then the first one!!!!!

Frankly I think everyone is making this a bigger deal then it really is. Yeah, the car is different...so what?

Then for the ending, I thought it was a good way to end the book. As SarahK said Edward does propose in the epilogue, so I'm glad its was in the movie.

OMG GET OVER THE CAR PEOPLE..its in the damn movie and its in Eclipse, theres nothing we can do about it now....

as for the ending, i agree..people are being hypocrites....if there wasnt so much fuss about the twilight ending, why new moon? I mean ATLEAST HE DID PROPOSE! what if he hadnt?? then what huh? be HAPPY that its in there..and it was done in a great way.

this movie was spot on and close to the book, and having been so, i still dont understand why people complain
