YES!! My 19th bday is in Feb!! So, i know what i’m getting for my birthday!! I’m so excited!! Can’t wait for the commentary by Chris, Kristen, Rob and Taylor in particular, as Twilight’s one was hilarious, execpt for some creepy comments by Catherine. They better release it in Australia at the same time or i’ll be pissed. Twilight was released so much earlier in the US, in Australia it was released April 21st! Anyway, i’m ranting, GO NEW MOON!!

This is way to early for them to put the DVD out. I thought they usually hold out on releasing the big movies an make people wait for them. Look at HP, it came out in the spring an the DVD in December. They make you wait so long your almost pullIng your hair out the day it releases. I love that. Plus it makes for bigger release parties. I think Summit is rushing this franchise so much that their gonna look up an *poof* it over.

I’m not complaining about an early release. This may not be entirely accurate, but I remain cautiously optimistic. I’m *dying* to see the deleted scenes for New Moon (which was a great movie).

Its going to be so early because Summit is money hungry and they want to squeeze every dime that they can out of Twilight before it looses some of its popularity. Not that i Mind that the Bluray will be out soon, but it seems that it always comes to money with summit

I guess it’s a little earlier than Twilight, but if they leave it too late Eclipse will be too close to it, so I suppose they probably just want to spread the releases of films/dvds out.
But anywaay, cannot wait, loved New Moon, and the earlier I get to see it again, the better

I think they’re probably doing so early so it is done before the heavy eclipse advertising. Maybe they will put the trailer for Eclipse on the DVD to get more buys….that would be SWEET:)

I think they arent waiting too lng because of eclipse coming out in thetres so they wont want to leave things too close together

They must be trying to avoid any overlap with promotion for Eclipse. The actors won’t want one thing to run into another. They’ll be exhausted and have other projects probably.

I’m pleased- I was planning to get it at the top of my Blockbuster online list and then just keep it until I could get my own copy! Probably won’t need to now!

YES! My mom was gonna buy it for my bday (end of June) because the timing seems reasonable to Twilight, but this is WAY better!! I CANNOT wait! I think it was the BEST movie ever.
Plastic abs? Major? This is gonna be good. =]

YAY!!!!!!!!! I’m so impatient, as soon as me and my friend had seen NM for the second time we were ready to have the dvd that day lol
I can’t wait for deleted scenes as the more footage the better IMO Oh and the commentary!! I was really worried that Rob wouldn’t be on this one because of how much he goes on about being a ‘supporting role’ but he is on the dvd with chris and kristen and taylor…. the twilight one was so funny hope this one is as good can’t wait to hear taylor commenting on his “you’re bleeding….and look i have this really absorbent shirt” moment

OMFG!!! I’m excited to watch it over and over again. Omg, watching Jacob is nice cause he’s sooo hot. But i like Edward too, all in all i think i’m more of a Team Jacob fan than Edward.

Yay, now i can’t wait to get it on DVD.

They’ve obviously done it so they can focus on the countdown to eclipse so they want to get new moon boxed off. if the dvd is out in feb thats only 4 months until eclipse.

well am cing it 4 the 6th time 2night!! so the dvd release really cant come soon enough for my m8s+i i really hope this is true because i just heard March 21st from one of my fellow twi hard friends?!! altho we r in the u.k. so i guess maybes we get it later? altho i think twilight was only released a week later here than in the u.s.
oh well im rambling whoop for the dvd release!!

According to Amazon Germany the DVD will be released there on 4/15/10, they accept pre-orders (I’m from Germany but live in Northern VA). It’s therefore likely that the DVD will be released in the US in February. So excited!
