More information on Twilight: The Video Game
We reported last week that BrainJunk Studios is currently developing Twilight: The Video Game. After chatting with the lead developer, Brandon Gardner, there are a few things to let you in on concerning the game.
* Twilight: The Video Game will not be an MMORPG as previously reported. This was a mistake that was reported on one website and was circulated around the web.
* Plans are in the works to have a playable prototype ready by November 20th.
* There are three artists providing music for the game, including a piano and flute rendition of Bella’s Lullaby by Donna Wissinger.
BrainJunk Studios also provided us with an exclusive wallpaper for our readers. Check it out right here in our gallery!
You can find more info about Twilight: The Video Game at their official website or you can follow them on Myspace.

How is that going to be a interesting video game? Not much action goes on or anything. I will still get it though.

I agree with Maddie, not sure how much action there will be. But I think I’ll still get it to test it out. =)

At least it’ll be free.

what publisher would pick up this game? and i dont think action in a game matters, gameplay does. tetris, etc. but i honestly dont see any potential here. press the a button to flirt?….snore

I’m sure they’ll find some way to input action into the storyline. They probably have many very good writers. I’m excited that they’re making a game. Hopefully the book characters look good in the game. I can’t wait to try jumping rivers or morphing into a werewolf!

Anyone know what song that is on the site?

I don’t think this is going to be a fun game..
Twilight shouldn’t be a game! I mean its a romance movie not action. Ugh.

lets hope its not as lame as the Twilight Board game… that one sucked soooo bad, didnt even finish it before it threw it into a random corner in my room

What, theres a Twilight Board game!?
omygosh that is so stupid!
I hate these stupid products that are marketing off Twilight.

I am a wife who learned how to play video games so my husband and I could spend some more time together and I actually really like playing now.
However, this game is going to be terrible. There is no action (unless you get to attack animals as Edward), there is no interesting story-line or twists or turns in the tale, and it cannot be an open world.
Ultimately they are either going to be rich because of fanatics or poor because we are smarter than that to buy into this stupid game.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m sick of Twilight marketing and what not…and I’m not psyched as I used to be about New Moon….
…and everything that’s been happening with Summit is to blame.
I wish it weren’t so.
Does anyone agree with me?
Comment by Rene Cecilia — 08/03/2009 @ 3:07 pm
i kind of agree with you rene cecilia. i still love twilight, but the marketing is getting over the top and old.

I think that the game is a little…I cant really find the right word for it but I think that people should try it before they judge..I mean come on , Everyone judged the director of New Moon and now pratically everyone loves him! I agree with some points that have been made but I believe that you need to see and try the final product before you can say for sure that you hate it.

GASP! What? Snog Edward 10 times for XP? Slay 10 Newborns for XP? Snog Jacob 10 times for XP?
I just don’t see it, as I can see others can’t, and WE would be the ones that want to see it.
Comment by Bluewolf — 08/03/2009 @ 6:12 pm
Unless, you can kill people in the video (Like Jacob Black), I don’t see any uses for this game! I WOULD find someone enjoy in being able to beat up Jacob Black!! BUT it would get boring after a while!

Wut.
I don’t even…
Comment by Courtney — 08/06/2009 @ 11:27 pm
I think this might actually be a bit fun from what I’ve heard in the interviews. They talked about a “what if” factor. You get to make your own decisions and see how Twilight would’ve turned out if something else had happened Excited
