Twilight Source is currently run by several college-aged students across the United States.
Created by Andrew, Laura, Elysa and Matt, the site launched in May 2008 and hopes to have
the privilege of becoming an integral part of the Twilight fandom. See below for
staff member bios.

 Andrew Sims
I'm a 19-year-old born and raised on the East Coast but now living the dream in Southern California. I heard of the Twilight series through my work on MuggleNet and MuggleCast, both of which I've helped maintain for the past 4 years. So many Potter fans were starting to read Twilight that I decided to give it a try. Lo and behold, I loved it! Outside of Twilight and Potter I enjoy hanging out with my friends, eating at In-N-Out, worshiping Apple products, and watching Family Guy.

I'm a 19-year-old college sophomore who spends her schooling months in beautiful northern Maryland and vacation time at home sweet home in Georgia. Like my cohorts, I've worked for MuggleNet and MuggleCast for a few years now, which is where I heard about Twilight in the first place. It was due to one fatal weekend when Elysa, Andrew, Matt, and myself were hanging out that our collective obsession with Twilight began. Aside from my various web-related addictions, I enjoy reading, writing, languages, and the occasional impromptu collective decision to go play in the rain at 3 am.

I'm a 22-year-old college student majoring in Political Science and History at a
university just outside Washington, D.C. I became a Twilight fan years ago, after
my friend Lei (see below!) suggested that I read it. I'm so glad that she did. Vampires aside, I'm an avid reader and writer,
my favorite authors being George Orwell and Daniel Quinn. I also have a passion for foreign policy, American history,
Stephen Colbert, Led Zeppelin, and... well, music in general.

I'm a 23-year-old college student born and raised in Southern California. I have been an affiliate of MuggleCast for a couple years now which is a Harry Potter Podcast. I first heard of Twilight during a recording session on MuggleCast when Potter fans were referring us to this new book series. I became a fan when Andrew and I went to get the first novel at the local bookstore and read it together and we were immediate fans. Putting the fangs and wand aside, I am a student at California State University Fullerton studying Film and love living in Orange County. I am a huge fan of movie scores. I have a passion for sarcasm and I also love watching South Park, Law & Order: SVU and Family Guy.

I am a college freshman and a born-and-bred Filipino who is trying (and failing) to get used to the unpredictable Canadian weather. Like many of my cohorts here, I started out in the Potter fandom, working as a moderator for Mugglenet Fan Fiction and then as an editor for MuggleNet.com. The Twilight series is the only exception to my otherwise romance-free bookshelf--I was hooked shortly after the first book was released. Apart from stalking fictional characters, co-heading the forums, and sifting through piles and piles of amazing fan art, I also enjoy music, writing, and photography. Oh, and I love Jasper Hale.

I'm a seventeen year old high school senior currently residing in Southern California, but with big dreams of (someday) moving to the East Coast. I first learned about the Twilight series about two years ago when a talkative book seller harassed me by insisting that I read the first book. Since then, it seems that I owe her a lot. Aside from being a news poster for the site, I enjoy reading, writing, spending time with my loving family and friends, and flipping through countless fashion blogs. When I'm not too busy studying for ridiculous AP/IB tests, writing for a publication, or questioning the meaning of life in my epistemology class, I love to watch everything from Animal Planet, CNN, Disney Channel, and Gossip Girl.

I am a college freshman studying animal science, intending to become a holistic veterinarian. My journey into the Twilight fandom began in a moment of despair when I realized that I had nothing to read. Needless to say, I’ve been hooked ever since. This is my first foray into working for a fandom website, though I have been active in the Harry Potter fandom for years now. Outside of my internet life, I enjoy music (of which I could ramble on about for ages, but I will restrain myself for the staff’s sanity), reading, Christian Bale, photography, dogs, Doctor Who, existentialism, and thought-provoking movies.

I am a 21-year-old college student in Southern California (originally from Boston, go Red Sox!) majoring in political science and planning to continue on to further education of some sort. I was initially a Twilight skeptic, but decided to give it a chance on a long flight one day, and have been hooked ever since. I am a forum moderator here at TwilightSource, and also work on various other projects around the site. Some of my other interests include music, theatre, Harry Potter, London, and all things Aaron Sorkin.

I'm an 18 year old college student majoring in Architecture and Industrial Design over at my little (but amazing) country of Ecuador. I've been part of the Twilight fandom for a little over a year now, and I appreciate the books for the countless hour of entertaining they have provided me and for the amazing people I've met thanks to them. I enjoy listening to music (especially Jason Mraz), watching LOST and many other TV shows, singing, playing piano and guitar, musicals, Harry Potter, the vlogbrothers, graphic design and general randomness, both on and offline.

-aka Lovaela- I'm a 21 year old college student with no major, but with a love for animals, photography, computers and graphic design. I'm an avid reader, movie buff, and console/pc gamer. I'm really stoked to be apart of the TwilightSource team, and look forward to contributing as much as possible to the website and forums, as well as meeting so many of my fellow Twifans! I was born and raised in Oklahoma, but currently reside in mid-Florida with my boyfriend of 2 years.

I’m an 18-year-old college freshman. I grew up around the world, and am currently attending college in New Mexico in the hopes of becoming a journalist. As an avid Harry Potter fan, I heard about Twilight through MuggleCast. I was hesitant to read it, but fell in love with it from page one. Who says we can’t love both series? I also love politics, literature, music (and musicals), languages, watching football and hockey, and Friends on the rare occasion that I have some free time.

I’m 24 yr old college student double majoring in both Business Systems Admin and Accounting. I was born in Richmond, Virginia but I now call Hampton Roads, Virginia home. I found Twilight when I was going into the bookstore to pickup another vampire series I read. I had seen it everywhere and thought I’d give it a try. Little did I know it would become something I’d grow to love so much! Other than all things Twilight, I love to read vampire romance, draw, write, find new music, photograph, social network and catch up on my favorite TV shows.

I'm a 21-year-old college student majoring in Journalism and International Relations at San Francisco State University. I was born and raised in beautiful Northern California in a small city just fifteen minutes away from San Francisco. I first picked up the Twilight books in 2007 after seeing one too many references to Edward Cullen on various Harry Potter related websites. I read the first book in the series in a day and I've been hooked ever since. Fandoms aside, I love music and attending concerts. Currently, some of my favorite bands are: The Cab, The Maine, All Time Low, and Family Force 5-- who are hands down BEST live performers I've ever seen. I also love hanging out with friends, road trips down to SoCal, having random and unplanned adventures in San Francisco, musical theatre, the UK TV series Skins, and my dog Jasper.

My name is Abby, and I'm the baby of the TwilightSource staff, as I'm only a freshman in high school. I first discovered the Twilight series when I was in 7th grade and a friend of mine gave me New Moon for my birthday. It took me a while to read it, and once I finally did, I realized it was a series. I quickly found the prequel to it, but reading them out of order made me more of a Jacob fan than the usual Edward fangirl. Ah, well. Twilight is not my first adventure into a fandom, because I've been involved in Harry Potter and wizard rock for years, but this is my first time working for a fan site. I'm also fairly addicted to the TV show Lost, and I also love swimming, sailing, and reading.

I am a twenty-year old sophomore in college majoring in Art and Creative Writing, as well as the resident graphic designer here at Twilight Source. I hit the Twilight fandom a bit late as the plot line to me sounded a bit corny and harlequin. Oh, how wrong I was. I read Twilight in few days, sitting in a coffee shop during my breaks from work, and immediately continued to New Moon and Eclipse. Funny thing though, I actually designed this website before picking up any of the books. Aside from Twilight and reading in general, I also enjoy art (in many forms), writing and participating in the ritualistic consumption of imploded corn kernels while gazing upon large sheets of canvas with moving images broadcast upon them.
