Reelz Channel Spotlight on Twilight
Robert Pattinson's Music Ambition
Robert Pattinson has a little blurb from Contact Music explaining his interest in music. TWILIGHT star ROBERT PATTINSON isn't worried if offers of acting jobs dry up - he'd happily turn his hand to a career in music. The actor trained at a theatre school in London, and is already looking to future career ventures. He tells the Los Angeles Times, "Music is my back-up plan if acting fails. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket."You can read the entire blurb here. Thanks to Christine for the tip!
Twilight Cast: What Will They Be Up to in 2009?
MTV has a new article on what the Twilight cast members will be doing in 2009. Stephenie Meyer has already given her thumbs-up to the sequel, scripted by returning screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, and everybody from Rob and Kristen to Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Peter Facinelli are in like Flynn. Not only is the November 20 release a no-brainer for the most anticipated "Twilight"-related movie of 2009, but to millions of die-hard fans, it's the single most anticipated flick of the year. Better keep those Tuesdays open, folks. Read it all here. Thanks to Christina for the tip!

Catherine Hardwicke: Five Most Important Movies
Newsweek has done an article with Catherine Hardwicke about her five most important films. 1. "Mean Streets." I am mesmerized by Martin Scorsese's low-budget, high-impact shooting style.
2. "A Woman Under the Influence." I had never seen such a raw, emotional film as this portrait by John Cassavetes. You can view the rest here.
Twilight perfume ripping off another bottle?
Perez Hilton has an interesting article pointing out that the recently released Twilight perfume may be copying the shape of another bottle: They've ripped off the bottle for the "Nina" by Nina Ricci fragrance.
With all the money they are making on the film, you'd think they could afford designing their own bottle!
The Twilight bottle has completely ripped off Nina Ricci's bottle design, right down to the leaves on the lid. The only difference is the script on the bottle and the box that it comes in.Nobody should jump to conclusions just yet. It's completely possible that Summit asked permission of Nina Ricci before copying the bottle. What's certain is that the bottle IS exactly the same shape. Robert Stands up Against Prop 8 and Defends Heath Ledger
At an anti prop-8 improv show, Robert Pattinson stands up for Heath Ledger. According to a witness at the No on H8 show at The Improv in Hollywood on Dec. 16, Twilight star Robert Pattinson, 22, booed a comic who said, "Here's my impression of Heath Ledger," then collapsed and began faking convulsions. You can read the small blurb here.
