    Personal History—

    Angela is among those who Bella meets on her first day of school in Forks. She sits with Bella at lunch while Bella is admiring the Cullens, but we don’t officially meet her until she and Bella walk to Biology together after lunch, and Bella notices that Angela is shy, too (Twilight, pg. 23). She also goes with Bella and Jessica to Port Angles to go shopping for a dress for the upcoming dance, which she is going to with Eric Yorkie (Twilight, 152). However, by the end of that year, Angela is going to the prom with Ben Cheney, who ends up being her long-term boyfriend.

    Angela is one of the few people who stick by Bella as a friend when she is shunned for her catatonic behavior (New Moon, pg 157). Even after the Cullens return to Forks, Angela and Ben sit with Bella, Alice, and Edward at lunch (Eclipse, pg. 36). After she graduates, Angela plans to go to The University of Washington with Ben (Eclipse, pg. 137).
