- Description: Didyme was Aro’s biological sister and Marcus’ mate. When she reached adulthood, Aro changed her into a vampire hoping she would have a special talent “that would help him rise in the vampire world.” Didyme fell in love with Aro’s partner, Marcus, and the two stopped caring about Aro’s plans and started discussing going their own way. Aro, then, murdered his sister without Marcus knowing, because her talent was less useful than Marcus’ talent.
