Personal History—

Mary arrives at the same time as Randall, both nomads sent by Emmett and Rosalie. They agree to stay and witness for the Cullens, proof of Renesmee’s origins, but are unsure if they would be willing to stand against the Volturi in a fight (Breaking Dawn, Chapter 32 and 34). They leave Forks soon after the threat of the Volturi fades (Breaking Dawn, Chapter 39).
